Prospective Residents
Welcome to the UBC Adult Neurology Residency Training Program!
The UBC Adult Neurology Postgraduate Training Program is fully accredited with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons. We are one of the largest adult neurology programs in the country with 31 residents at various levels of training. We pride ourselves in being a supportive, collegial community, striving to train excellent neurologists. We’ve created this website with the goal of giving prospective residents an overview of our program and our residency family.
The Division of Neurology is committed to providing well-rounded and thorough training for residents, and is dedicated to continuously enhance and strengthen our educational experiences. Our graduates are well prepared for independent practice or fellowship training, and receive comprehensive training in all areas of neurology.
Some of the highlights of our program are...
Collegial, supportive environment with residents and staff
Broad range of subspecialty and ambulatory clinics
Exposure and hands-on learning for a large volume and wide breadth of inpatient cases
Focus on enhancing competencies in graduated responsibilities
